Koopastar started as a Youtube channel in 2016 in California. He used the name Koopastar Productions and for 2 years made slightly shoddy plush videos, gaming how-to's, and other types of media. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought him back into the internet and his old Youtube channel was re-introduced with mashups and memes and was renamed Koopastar.
