Tin Star was an alt-neo country-rock band which performed around the Los Angeles area between 1984 and 1990, formed by vocalist songwriter, Kerry Hansen and drummer songwriter Geoff Lewis. Originally the line-up included Shelly O'Neill on vocals, Will Ray on guitar and Jeff Roberts on bass who cut the first album. In 1987 they were replaced by Bob Gothar on guitar, Jeff Todd on bass and female vocalist Laura Lee Kessinger who recorded the second and last album.
