José Reyes
French flamenco singer, born 1928, died 6 June 1979. José Reyes – father of the Gipsy King's Reyes – sang alongside guitarist Manitas de Plata. After splitting from Manitas in the 1970s he formed Los Reyes with his teenage sons. One of them is Canut Reyes.
