Billy Goat was a band playing rock, funk and Latin styles from 1989 to 1997. The only constant members were Mike Dillon and Kim Pruitt. The group was started in Denton, Texas in 1989. In 1992, Dillon and Pruitt relocated to Kansas City, Missouri and reformed the band there.
The band made 3 albums, Bush Roaming Mammals (1992), Live at the Swinger's Ball (1994) and Black and White (1995).
