Supergroup from Montreal, Quebec, formed by three veterans of the local music scene: Dumas on guitar, Francis Mineau on drums and percussions, and Jonathan Dauphinais on bass. Their first self-titled album, released in November 2021, is largely instrumental and inspired by 1990's alternative rock.

The name Axlaustade is based on a famous incident in Montreal rock history, when in August of 1992 Axl Rose walked out of a concert by his band, Guns N' Roses, at Stade Olympique, thereby causing a riot.
