judA is an alternative / post-rock power trio founded by Marco Antoci D'Agostino, Sergio Fossati and Andrea Uber in the winter of 2004 in the northern suburbs of Milan.
In the first 2 years of activity the band is dedicated to the construction of his own sound, studio improvisation and a few live shows.

In March 2007, born (self-produced) RESPIRI E SOSPIRI, first long work after a 4 piece EP recorded live in September 2005 (JUDA EP). Recorded, edited and mixed by Fabio Intraina at Tray Studio of INZAGO (MI) and mastered by Maurizio Giannotti of NEWMASTERING BIPS STUDIO of Milan.
RESPIRI AND SOSPIRI is able to obtain favorable consents both on the national territory and in the U.S.A. and Japan.

In July 2007 the notification of the victory of the NOKIA TRENDS LAB CONTEST arrives, then important live shows like “La Notte Bianca” in Milan, the AVANTGARDEN Festival and the ETNASOUND Festival.

In September 2007, Marco and Sergio engage a new drummer Alberto Mangili (LANA ex-drummer). judA decides to promote its album through the internet by choosing to allow free download.

In August 2008 the band interrupts the live activity to dedicate itself to new work. Publish on his website a free mini EP downloadable, "La + Ma (Nero Pre)" which contains a live version of "Collasso" played at Festival di Villa Arconati (opening to TRE ALLEGRI RAGAZZI MORTI), and a new song: "La + Ma". The band enters the studio in March 2009, again at the Tray Studio, again with Fabio Intraina as a sound engineer, study technician and artistic director, only coming out in December 2010 and still entrusting the analog mastering to Maurizio Giannotti.

In February 2010, the new work was published by the emerging indie label Il Verso del Cinghiale: Malelieve.
Malelieve contains 11 unreleased tracks in which several artists of the Italian independent music scene collaborate as Xabier Iriondo, Laura Spada (voice of Psychovox), the singer-songwriter STEAD and Paolo Fusini (guitar of SPREAD). The album is presented on February 10th with a showcase at LA CASA 139 in Milan and toured throughout Italy, including festivals and live clubs. Although judA still decides not to use a conventional distribution and to reject management proposals, with the exception of the collaboration with the Catania-based OVERFLOW AGENCY. MALELIEVE is very positively reviewed by all the major webzines and specialized magazines.

The artwork, the arrangements and the artistic production are still taken care of by the band. A young director of the Milan area, Lino Palena, realizes "DOPODOMANI", a documentary on the realization of the album in order to make known what it entails, from different points of view, the realization of an independent music album.

Between 2010 and 2011 judas perform throughout Italy and Europe, in a mini tour with the band Sense Of Akasha.

In July 2011, Alberto decides to leave the band for few months. In December they announce the beginning of the work of the third job. Work that is again interrupted by the abandonment of Sergio Fossati in May 2012.
Alberto and Marco take a few months to gather ideas and motivations until November announce to be back to work on the new album with a new guitarist, Alessandro Denti.
Together with the announcement of the new guitarist, it is revealed that the new work will be produced by the band and by Riff Records and will be distributed on national territory by Goodfellas.
October 30, 2014 comes out, in double CD and double vinyl (limited edition of 100 copies), Quel Brevissimo Istante In Cui Ti Manchi.
After enthusiastic reviews of the album and a first series of dates, in March 2015 Marco Antoci D'Agostino officially announced on his facebook page to leave the band for an irreparable break with the other members. This fact marks the inevitable dissolution of the band, which on April 18, 2015 held at the Edonè of Bergamo the last live.
