The Playmates

Members: Ellen Waaler, Inger Lise Rasmussen, Rigmor Østmo, Berit Halvei, Irene Lund

The Playmates were a foursome from Trondheim, Norway founded winter 1966.

The band originally comprised of
Rigmor Østmo (later Lund) (vocals),
Inger Lise Rasmussen (guitar),
Berit Langø (later Halvei) (bass), and
Irene Lund (drums).

In 1968 Langø and Rasmussen was in a traffic accident, and the band broke up. In 1975 the band started up again with the following line-up:
Rigmor Lund (vocals, guitar),
Heidi Sollås (bass)
Berit Halvei (drums), and
Grete Nilsen (organ).

Ellen Waaler was a vocalist at the end of the band's career.
