Brazilian composer and poet.

He directed the Antônio Parreiras Museum in Niterói. During her master's degree in poetry at New York University, she launched her first book of poems, Entre árvores, by Bem-Te-Vi, published by Armando Freitas Filho.

In 2012 he released his first album, Rosto, by Bolacha Discos, as well as a book of poetry translations, O andar ao lado: três novos poetas norte americanos, published by 7 Letras.

In 2015 he released the album Cigarra no trovão (author's edition) with his quintet, and went on tour of twenty shows through the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and São Paulo. In the same year he released his second book of poems, Cardume, by 7 Letras. About it, the poet and philosopher Antonio Cicero wrote: "I have no hesitation in qualifying Cardume as one of the best books of contemporary poetry."

Sylvio Fraga Quinteto, Letieres Leite - Canção Da Cabra, Sylvio's new album, recorded with his quintet and with Letieres Leite, is his first for Rocinante. About this record, Letieres himself said, "Sylvio's work is one of the most enchanting in Brazil today. This record brings an important contribution in the advancement and possibilities of the song."
