George "Tautu" Archer
Real name: Marcel Rene George Archer-Ceran
French jazz guitarist and vocalist.Born 24 February 1906 in Tahiti. Died 23 August 1976.
Married to Audrey Robinson Archer and father of George Archer, Jr. (1938-199), who was also a musician. Archer and his wife composed songs that mixed Hawaiian and Tahitian aspects, transforming Hawaiian music.
