Hori

Born December 19, 1981 in Nagano Prefecture, this somewhat controversial man made his name in his hometown from an early age, and from junior high school he discovered RAP/HIPHOP and started holding a microphone. He has had extraordinary skills, experience, and star quality since his teens. It is also true that many young artists from the Shinetsu region have been influenced by HORI. His talent was recognized even while he was still in high school, and he worked with YOU THE ROCK and RINO during the heyday of Japanese rap, experiencing live performances and recordings all over the country, absorbing information about the city and honing his talent every day. Based on his own belief that "ability is the most important thing" and "HIPHOP is about representing your hometown," he returned to Nagano and launched his own label, SUWA SIDE RECORDS, at the age of just 19, and released the works [One for the money two for the show (1st analog single released in 2003)] and [KILLER MC COMING (1st EP released in 2004)]. In 2006, he released his second EP [UEHITOSHII (available on iTunes)]. Due to his mature style and the high quality of his songs, which he achieved by using overseas producers from the CASH MONEY group, this work was praised by general listeners as well as new generation rappers such as AK-69 and SEEDA. It was also the work that led HORI, who was disappointed with the scene, to meet a few rappers he could relate to. In April 2007, he also worked as a personality on his own program [SKY WALK TIMES (every Saturday from 24:00 to 24:30)], which began on FM NAGANO, the only JOZU FM station in Nagano Prefecture.
