Teaitu Mariterangi has been singing Paumatu songs since his early childhood on the little atoll of Hikueru. His family is famous for their musical performances. His sisters Marie Mariterangi and Emma Mariterangi have performed all over the world with Teaitu. This recording of original songs was made in Tahiti in the Tipaerui Valley with his orchestra.
