Göran Månsson
Swedish flute player (both concert and folk music instruments) and music teacher, born 1967 in Ånge.
Göran Månsson hails from the fiddler family Lång in Haverö. He studied recorder in early music and classical music at the Royal College of Music. As a folk musician, he mainly plays recorder but also other flutes, jew's harp and percussion. He is a member of the group Gjallarhorn, Frispel, and was previously in Sarek. Månsson participated in the Melodifestivalen 2004 with the contribution "Älvorna". He teaches classical and folk musical recorder playing and ensemble for early music at the Ingesund Academy of Music and has also taught at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
