Belgian composer and organist, born 4 July 1903 in Tielen, died 4 July 1986 in Mechelen.

Flor Peeters was organist at the Sint-Romboutskathedraal, Mechelen since about the 1920's until the 1980's. He was the tutor of hundreds of organists in Western and Eastern Europe, and the USA. He was a musical pedagogue at the conservatoria of Ghent, Tilburg and Antwerp, and the Lemmensinstituut, Mechelen, Belgium. He composed about 350 works for organ, among other works. He travelled the five continents to perform over 1500 organ recitals.
