Blues singer and guitarist, born August 12, 1912 (registration card shows Cushing, Rusk in Texas) in Westconnie, Texas, died Los Angeles, November 11, 1997.Hogg recorded solo in Los Angeles for Octive c. 1951 and with a backing band in Houston for Mercury in 1951.
Cousin of Smokey Hogg.
