Off-shoot/side project of The 77s. Originally formed in 1989 as a one-off solo project for Michael Roe, it eventually became its own entity and included bass player Mark Harmon. Bruce Spencer is also sometimes involved. The "i" is often written as a stylized apostrophe, to emphasize the project's relationship to The 77s.
