Jamaican Alto Saxophone and trumpet player, writer and arranger, born 31 January 1936, died 16 May 2023. Lester G. Sterling started his music education in the 40's at The Alpha Boys School and was the last founding member of The Skatalites, until he retired from the group in 2014.
