Bud Allen
Real name: Arthur Allen
American composer, lyricist, and publisher.Allen wrote "Ten O’Clock Blues" (1927), "Got My Mind On That Thing" (1928). He created the lyrics for two songs by Spencer Williams, "Georgia Grind" (1926) and "Ain't Got Nobody To Grind My Coffee" (1928). Allen collaborated with his friend Fats Waller and Benny Carter on "Nobody Knows" (1927), with Fats Waller and Walter Bishop on "One O'Clock Blues" (1928), with Buddy Johnson on "You Won't Let Me Go" (1941), and with Louis Jordan on "I Know What You Are Puttin' Down" (1947).
