Jack Grassel

Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, author and educator from Wisconsin. Born in 1948, Jack was the grandson of Joe Grassel, mandolin player in The Joe Grassel Band. Jack's musical ability developed at a very early age playing the accordion at age 4 and playing stand up bass professionally in jazz quartets when he was only 12.
Winner of many W.A.M.I. awards and named Chairman of the Milwaukee Area Technical College music department in 1983.
First record as a band leader was "Magic Cereal" released in 1986.
Frequently performs with Jill Jensen in an act called 'Jack and Jill'.
