American electronic project founded by Chandra Shukla in 1995. The name of the project was supposedly formed from letters left over from a Scrabble game.
Xambuca has performed internationally and continues to produce, record and perform live. Live and studio members include Dave Jones (9), Elisa Faires, Larry Thrasher, Matthew Waldron and more.
The 2021 lineup for Xambuca consists solely of Chandra Shukla (sound) and sometimes collaborations with Geo Lynx (video) with occasional guest vocals by Elisa Faires.
