Amboina Serenaders

Members: Rudi Wairata, Ming Luhulima
The Amboinia Serenaders were actually the Dutch formation The Mena Moeria Minstrels. They used this alternative performing name for their Krontjong repertoire (Moluccan and Indian songs). Ming Luhulima was their leader from 1957 on, after the original leader Rudi Wairata had quit the band. In 1958 the band got split up when also their female lead singer stepped out of the band.
