The Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic is a symphony orchestra in St. Petersburg, the oldest symphony orchestra in Russia.The main concert venue is the Grand Hall Of The Leningrad Philharmonia.
Until 1993 it was called Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra.
Since January 2022, the chief conductor of the orchestra is Nikolai Alexeyev (replaced Yuri Temirkanov at this post).
Principal guest conductor - Charles Dutoit.
