American manager and songwriter, famous for his collaboration with Ronnie Self and Brenda Lee. He was born on December 26, 1916 in Murray, Kentucky toWilliam Dumas Allbritten and Viola Wilson Allbritten. He died on March 19, 1971 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is buried in Maplelawn Park Cemetery, Paducah, Kentucky.
