Syzygy are London-based duo Dominic Glynn and Justin Mackay.
First meeting was at the end of the 1980s, when Glynn was working part-time providing BBC television's Doctor Who series with incidental music. Mutually inspired by Detroit techno (Derrick May, Juan Atkins, et al), their first recordings emerged on the Infonet record label, before they adopted the names Mind Control and Zendik for two further 12" releases. They subsequently signed more permanently to Rising High Records as Syzygy.
