Real name: José Youcef Lamine Kaminsky

Rocé is a French rapper, born in 1977 in Bab El Oued in Algeria, an Algerian mother and an Argentine father of Russian origin, the resistant and anticolonialist Adolfo Kaminsky, Rocé arrives in France at the age of 4 years and grew up in Thiais, in the Val-de-Marne.

First spotted by Manu Key (Mafia K'1 Fry) who invited him to include a piece Respect, on the album La rime urbaine (1996), from his group Different Teep, Rocé then delivers in 1998 two maxi-singles , Pour l'horizon / De ma haine à ta haine et ricochets / Encore et encore, chez Chronowax / Espionnage, DJ Mehdi's label. In 1999, it appears on the compilation Première classe vol. 1 on the title La vérité blesse alongside the group 113 and Rodriguez aka Jeap12 at Group Less du neuf. The same year, he appeared on the title Un parmi des millions, especially with Kohndo, on the album Le Réveil de Koma.
