Raza Khan is a sufi singer,he was born in Batala( Punjab) and started learning music at the age of 7 under Shafqat Ali Khan, who belongs to Sham Chaurasi Gharana. Raza Khan is also an exponent of the Mausiki Gharana tradition. Born into a devout Christian family, he thinks that in order to be a sufi one need not to be of a specific religion but must be able to surrender completely to the Almighty.
