He was called the "white Indian" because of his lifelong interest in native American culture and this knowledge he often used in his song lyrics.
Besides his musicianship, he was an Indian camp manager, art artist and wood carver. He performed as an Elvis impersonator at King Creole in Stockholm during the 1980s.
