Brourman is known for writing the songs to eighteen of the "Land Before Time" animated feature films for Universal Studios (with Amanda McBroom), as well as the accompanying TV series (with Ford Riley).
Her best-known song is "My Favorite Year", whcih has been recorded by Michael Feinstein, Margaret Whiting, Dame Cleo Laine, and many others.
