The Choralaires
Members: Mrs. Quentin C. Sewell
Described by “The Dispatch” of Rock Island, Illinois, as “…a group of young people representing six cities and eight churches” which was organized in May 1960. They were under the direction of Mrs. Quentin C. Sewell. The group’s only known recording, a 12” acetate, was recorded during a concert performance on September 18, 1960, at Watertown Baptist Church in East Moline, where accompanist Sally Goodwin's father served as pastor.
