Tempest is hard rock band from Wolverhampton, England, Great Britain, that was formed under then name Smokin' Roadie in 1981. The band, which was part of the NWOBHM movement, later re-changed its name to Smokin' Roadie and moved to Los Angeles. The band split up in 1989.
