Distaste start freshly from Dungun, a little state inside Terengganu. Where at the first time, the name is OverCharge / Distort but since there are lots of same name, they decide to change it to Distaste. Founded by Kerol Ikmal (guitar/vocal) late 2010. The influences are more to fast d-beat crusty band such as Kreigshot, Shitlickers, Discharge or Skitsystem as their genre are more to fast crusty ‘kasipecah’ d-beat. As from the start, they played 3-pieces. As drum, Kema and Eddy as bass. At mid-2011, dinkgo suits an empty place as second guitar but in late 2011, Eddy switch position with dinkgo. Since then, no one leave the band, or rejected or replaced with other people. They are not yet properly recorded their song or releasing any stuffs. Anyhow, if seen, on facebook, there are two song already poorly recorded and yet, more to come. The plan is going to record after this Raya and distribute their stuffs to friend and crowd.
