Rifles at Recess is a melodic death metal/metalcore band from chattanooga, tennessee that disbanded after a tour in the summer of 2003.Their music is characterized by heavy blast beats, frequent tremelo picking, and raw biting vocals similar to the styles of the Black Dahlia Murder and Glass Casket. Their occasional breakdowns, spoken words, and tempo changes blend hardcore into their brutal style.
