Real name: Lars Gunnar Lönndahl

Swedish singer and actor, born 19 August 1928 in Stockholm, died December 26, 2022.

He was an early "teenage idol" and has, among other things, had 37 songs on Svensktoppen and 12 No. 1 hit singles in the 50's.

He came to devote himself more to TV entertainment, including some musicals. In the summer of 1978, he was a summer speaker on Swedish Radio. In 1985/86, Lasse Lönndahl recorded his version of the song Macken, written by Claes Eriksson and which started the cult TV series Macken created by Galenskaparna and After Shave. Lasse Lönndahl's version is played in part four of the series. In 1981 he led the Svensktoppen for a few months. In the early 1980s, his touring slowed down.
