Swedish mezzo-soprano, born 15 March 1956 in Örebro.

She graduated from the Academy of Music in Stockholm in 1981 and from the Drama School in Gothenburg in 1983, but has also studied in London and New York. As a freelancer, she has appeared on stages such as Norrlandsoperan and Folkoperan, after which in 1984 she was engaged at Malmö stadsteater, where she participated in works such as Carmen and Rucklarens väg. She has performed with the Nordics' leading symphony orchestras. For many years she belonged to the permanent ensemble at the Royal Opera in Stockholm.

Her work has included opera and operetta roles, romance concerts and chamber music. She has appeared on TV and radio, conducted tours in the Nordic countries, England, Germany, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, USA, Spain and Belgium, among others.

She was married from 1984–1987 to pianist Stefan Bojsten and since 1992 to cellist .
