Francesco Geminiani (Lucca, 1680 - 1762) was an Italian violinist, composer and music theorist of the Baroque era.He was a pupil of Arcangelo Corelli and Alessandro Scarlatti and he wrote the major parts of his works in England, where could enjoy some fame. Geminiani was a friend of Georg Friedrich Händel who often accompanied him on the harpsichord.
