British Punk/Post Punk group, formed in Birmingham, England during the late 1970'sThe line-up (1979-83) comprised of Gillon Jacoby, (guitar, flute), Lindy Shortt (lead vocals, percussion, saxophone), Michelle Swingler (bass, backing vocals), Rob Bright (drums).
The group played extensively around the U.K. university, pub and club circuit, experimenting in punk and dub styles while incorporating racial and feminist left-wing politics into their live performance and studio recordings. The group split in 1983.
