Los Lazos

Effective period / Period of releases: 1970 - 1972

Members: Joseles

Mexican group. Los Lazos are not a rock band per se, rather it was one of the many bands that dedicated themselves to making covers in Mexico during the 70s, these covers were mainly love ballads captured on their only LP from 1972 "Como Has Hecho" being the homonymous song "Como Has Hecho" the best known of this band that is said, it was presented at the Hotel Fiesta Palace, one of the most important hotels in Mexico at that time. Among his ranks was a Spanish singer named Joséles in whose solo career he had hits such as "Espérame", "Yo te Amo", etc. with the RCA México label.
The song titled "La Rola" was the only original original composition by Los Lazos, influenced by jazz fusion and some funk, a musical mixture that was apparently very recurrent in bands in the early 70s. As is the case with La Pipa de La Paz, Los Elementos and particularly, this song has a very similar sound to Los Soul Masters and their 1971 EP "Los Soul Masters en Avándaro" and Grupo Oz.
