Best known for her apostrophic 1950 hit song, "If I Knew You Were Coming (I'd've Baked a Cake)", which hit #1. She charted three other times between 1950 and 1953 with the songs "May I Take Two Giant Steps?", "Wishin'", Cry" and "Pretend", all top 30 songs.
