Robert Browne Hall

Real name: Robert Browne Hall

American march and brass band composer, originally from Maine and a cornet virtuoso. He was a prolific composer with 62 published marches to his credit. This earned him the title 'the New England March King' and the quality of many of them, especially 'The New Colonial' (1901), explains why he was considered one of Sousa's closest rivals.
Born June 30th, 1858
Died June 8th, 1907
