Members: Eric Barth, Dan Spurgeon, Mark Spurgeon

From Columbus, Ohio, Two Hour Trip was a popular local act in and around Columbus during the late 1980s and early 1990s.They spent some time in the studio releasing a split 7" single on Datapanik Records and an unreleased cassette of 10 songs or so. Brothers Mark and Dan Spurgeon played guitars and sang while bassist Eric Barth and drummer Stephen Hanula kept the driving rhythm going. The band was occasionally joined on stage by Ron House, a popular figure in Columbus music circles and member of the band The Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments. Sadly, the band broke up because of internal turmoil and so far there has not been any reunion.
