Swedish drummer, born August 30, 198.

He grew up in Gävle. He studied at the Jazzgymnasiet in Gävle, where he got to know Petter Winnberg. The two have since played together in a number of different constellations, such as Hjálmar, Little Majorette and Amason. After the death of Thomas Mera Gartz, Törnqvist replaced him as drummer in Träd, Gräs och Stenar in 2012. Törnqvist is also the drummer in the trio Daniel4Ever, who released their first single in 2021. He has also played with artists such as Robyn, Laleh, Lykke Li, Miike Snow and Markus Krunegård.
