David’s interest in electronic music begins at the start of the 90′s when he produced some tracks with a simple tracker and an old Commodore Amiga. In 1997, he started co-producing a track for the first release of the portuguese label Lupeca Records. His own record came out the same year (Strictly for the Funktional People EP), followed one year later by a second (Filter Freezer EP), under the pseudonym of Scalawag… Both received great reviews, promoting his career as a DJ. Depending on the theme of the party, Scalawag plays house to minimal, never forgetting the sensuality of deep house or the good old school sounds. An authentic journey into the underground…
