Wilshire was only 17 when he set out on his own among the Pub and Club scene of Australia. For 20 years he had been a steady there, until a few years ago when his band the Chrome Daddies came to the attention of Rhythm Bomb Records in Berlin. After a successful tour and a handful of live and studio albums, the idea for a solo album came to Wilshire, the band's main songwriter.
