Swedish Christian singer, songwriter and doctor, born August 10, 1947 in Borås.

He was a soloist in the gospel choir Choralerna and together with Peter Sandwall wrote the musical Befriad, which premiered in 1973. Befriad was then performed several hundred times by Choralerna and also other choirs. The duo Sandwall and Mörlid have for several decades released records together and held concerts mainly in churches. Not least they are known for their Christmas concerts, which they hold in a number of places every year since 1980.
