Gerd Bracht

Gerd and Richard Bracht (born on September 30, 1950 in Lüdenscheid) were born as twins. From 1972 to 1979, they studied Romance languages and literature and physical education at the WWU Münster and the Université Lille in France. They then completed their teacher training at Johannes Kepler Gymnasium. Gerd Bracht became a member of Pink Pop, through which an AMB position was organized for him. This enabled him to set up his own studio in Münster. The band Die Zwillinge und die Blechgang was founded in 1983 with Klaus Schneider. Their trademark is their black and white Ringe T-shirts.
In 1992, they played a concert in Münster in front of an audience of 20,000.
In 2001, the brothers founded "Die Zwillinge Jazz-Universität", a jazz band with their own German lyrics.
