Violinist, vocalist and songwriter from San Antonio, Texas. Burns began playing violin when she was 10 years old, and has been touring and recording since 2006.She moved to Austin, Texas in 2005, joining folk-rock outfit Alex Dupree and the Trapdoor Band, and then joining the instrumental ensemble Balmorhea on violin in 2007. She released her solo debut in 2013.
