Transmisia is an unique band coming out of the former Yugoslavian country of Croatia, their first official recording appearance was around 1987. They're sons of seminal bands the likes of which Laibach and Borghesia brought along on tour in the early days but also, on first marvellous album, of early post-punk, in vein of early Christian Death (guitars) and Red Lorry Yellow Lorry (drums). Bands they supported include Christian Death, Godflesh, Legendary Pink Dots, NoMeansNo, and New Bomb Turks.

Transmisia released 3 studio albums which impressed international audiences, receiving press; and label interest from Invisible, Touch and Go in the U.S. and most recently, Southern Studios in the UK.
