Friar Tuck was a stage name for Los Angeles, CA session guitarist Mike Deasy, who recorded a 1967 LP and associated 45 for Mercury under that name with the help of his studio musician friends. The LP was reportedly in Jimi Hendrix's personal record collection, according to the March 1996 issue of Guitar Player Magazine.
