Ralph Langtry

Ralph Langtry obtained his A.R.C.T. in 1956 and graduated from Queen's University with his Bachelor of Arts in Honours History in 1960. He has been the principal organist and choir master of St. James’ Anglican Church since 1963, serving with five different Rectors.
Our present Rector, Harvey Southcott, conveyed the sense of pride that St. James’ has in its organist when in expressing the parish’s appreciation of Ralph's talents at the Annual Vestry Meeting he said, "Not only is Ralph Langtry a talented musician but he exercises a real Christian Ministry of Music at St. James’ . . . Ralph’s thorough research in preparation for each service is a real teaching factor in our parish."
