Real name: Ruben Radica

Ruben Radica (Split, 19 May 1931 - Zagreb, 28 July 2021), Croatian composer and music teacher, grandson of the famous composer Josip Hatze. Studied at the Zagreb Academy for Music, where he graduated as conductor in the class of Slavko Zlatić (in 1957). He also studied composing in the class of Milko Kelemen (graduated in 1958). Between 1959 and 1963 he taught at the Sarajevo Music Academy, and then joined the faculty of Zagreb Music Academy. He was a member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He won the Vjesnik award Josip Štolcer Slavenski in 1978 and again in 1991.
