ÜL was formed in 2006 in Argentina with members of Reynols and side projects Minexio VII and Virgen Vapor. They played with Japanese singer Damo Suzuki (ex Can) on his first Argentinian shows and have toured extensively around the Buenos Aires underground scene. The group explores the timbric posibilities of the electric guitar, combining elements of noise, drone, rock, psych, concrete, atonal music and free improvisation.
